Residents Lounge, (or Snug) has been re-vamped in 2005. There is
a log-burning stove for chillier evenings, and comfortable seating.
The grandfarther clock dating back to the late 1700's was made
locally by Dan Bellman of Broughton. |

Patio doors lead out to an
enclosed area with potted plants and shrubs.
There is an excellent
view of the birds feeding at the bird table!
A wide choice of breakfasts is served here, which include healthy
options (eg Fresh Fruit and Yoghurt) ranging through to our now
famous "Hearty
Cumbrian" breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms,
blackpudding, beans and fried bread.
